Supported by Soka Gakkai Singapore (SGS), the SGS-Ikeda Peace Award gives recognition to students at the Singapore Management University who are committed to the spirit of volunteerism. The award will be given annually to a student who has achieved or made significant contributions to the University or the community at large through partnership with volunteer welfare organisations. The SGS-Ikeda Peace Award is given annually to an SMU student who partners with approved VWO(s), contributes to the community and SMU, and provides documentary evidence of eligibility. The award includes a certificate and a cash prize of $3,000.
